If heading North into Colorado, when you pass Buena Vista on Hwy 24, you'll turn left on Mountain View Dr. It's a very small dirt road with hardly any signage at the entrance.
Landmarks to look for
As you approach, look for a white shed directly next to the road on the right. That is immediately before you'll need to turn left. So slow down as you approach the shed and look to the left.
There is also a red barn-like house right at the base of the hill that you'll be driving past on Mountain View Dr. before going up-hill. Between the house and Hwy 24, there's a farm field with one of those large above-ground sprinkler arms running the length of the field on the North side of Mountain View Dr.
If heading South, Granite is the last town you'll pass through before getting to the house, which is several miles North of BV off Hwy 24. It's a very small dirt road with hardly any signage at the entrance.
Landmarks to look for:
As you approach, look for small beige building with a green roof on the left side of the road with a few other houses near it. You'll be seeing it from the back (there are 3 garage doors on the other side once you've passed it). The very next turn on the right will be Mountain View Dr. where you need to turn.
Try to keep at or below 20mph (try different speeds to see what feels the least bumpy). As the road begins to inline, there is a sharp right turn you'll want to slow way down for. Try to look out for oncoming vehicles coming down. There's an left curve right after and then an immediate right onto S Lake Rd. You'll see a pond immediately to the left after this turn. The first and only house on the left is us. Turn into our drive and park anywhere off to the right (gravel area) or directly behind the garage. Once you're inside and open the garage, feel free to park inside; mind the motorcycles on the left. The garage door opener may be hanging just inside the door to the garage on one of the antler racks.
